Our Core Functions
MFAET provides policy advice to the Government and implements Solomon Islands’ foreign policy and strategies including those for trade. The Ministry also ensures the country meets its obligations under international agreements, provides protocol services and ensures the country contributes to global governance through the appropriate fora.
