Solomon Islands High Commission Office in Port Moresby is one of the first diplomatic mission of a Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) member country to fly the MSG flag.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade has condemned the live media clip viewed by many Solomon Islanders last night.

 

 

Solomon Islands reaffirms its recognition of the One China Principle and that Taiwan is an integral part of the People’s Republic of China’s territory following the outcome of recent elections in Taiwan.  

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to the Solomon Islands has opened its consular section to assist in visa processing and other consular services here in Honiara.

Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Honourable Jeremiah Manele (MP), met with the Chair of the Pacific Islands Forum and Prime Minister of Cook Islands Honourable Mark Brown, in the margins of the recent Pacific Islands Forum Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Suva, Fiji.

Solomon Islands Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Honourable Jeremiah Manele held a bilateral meeting with the Fiji Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications, Hon.Manoa Kamikamica on 15 September, in Suva, Fiji.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Hon. Jeremiah Manele assured India that Solomon Islands remains committed to enhance its bilateral cooperation and to explore opportunities in trade, investment and business as well as other sectors.
