Her Excellency Busadee Santipitaks, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, presented her Letter of Credence to the Governor General Sir David Vunagi at the Government House today. This event signifies another step forward in the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and Solomon Islands in this post pandemic era.
The Non-Resident Ambassador of Thailand, H.E Busadee Santipitaks, in presenting her Letter of Credence assured the Governor General of Thailand’s commitment to continuously see lasting prosperity in the bilateral partnership with Solomon Islands, which has been cordial for the past 36 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties in May 1986. The visiting Ambassador also emphasized on Thailand’s interest to cooperate with Solomon Islands in the priority areas of Climate Change through existing multilateral frameworks and regional organizations like the Pacific Islands Forum.

eral relations and cooperation with Thailand. Sir Vunagi, further reiterated that Solomon Islands will continue to seek avenues to strengthen and enhance its bilateral relationship with Thailand.
Governor General Sir Vunagi also assured Ambassador Santipitaks, that the people and Government of Solomon Islands have profound trust in the cordial partnership with the Kingdom of Thailand and stands ready to work together on areas of mutual interest between both countries.
H.E Busadee Santipitaks, will later on have a courtesy meeting with the Acting Prime Minister, Hon. Bradley Tovosia (MP) and the Supervising Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Fredrick Kologeto (MP).
