Emerging Markets Institute
Along with China's rapid economic growth and its fast integration into the global economic system, the rise of emerging market countries as a group, and the increasingly deepened South-South cooperation, Beijing Normal University established Emerging Markets Institute in 2011. Emerging Markets Institute adheres to the motto of "walking with the times", taking into account of the overall situation of national development, actively responds to the needs of constructing the Belt and Road, and vigorously trains economic and management elites for the Belt and Road countries. The Institute aims to promote the cooperation between China and other developing countries, and the long-term and sustainable development. It shall make its own contribution to promoting a more prosperous global economy and a more secure world, and shed new light on the development theory and development policy in a new era of innovation.
